Yoji oversees Asian equities for RBC Investment Management (Asia) Ltd., and is a member of the RBC Investment Strategy Committee, which establishes global asset-mix strategies.
Yoji has been active in the investment management industry since 1980, when he began his career with Bankers Trust. He worked in London, New York, and Tokyo, and in 1983 returned to Japan, where he was Chief Investment Officer of the bank's Japanese investment-management unit. In August of 1994, Yoji joined RBC Asset Management in Japan and, in October 2002, moved to Hong Kong to head the Asian equity-management team for RBC Investment Management (Asia) in Hong Kong.
Yoji graduated from Nanzan University in Nagoya, Japan, with a Bachelor of Arts degree and earned his MBA at Harvard Business School.
