Michael Jantzi is the CEO Jantzi-Sustainalytics and was the founder of Jantzi Research. Jantzi-Sustainalytics works extensively within the investment industry to define investment policies that incorporate environmental, social and governance criteria. In 2000, Michael launched the Jantzi Social Index, a market capitalization-weighted common stock index consisting of 60 Canadian companies that pass a set of broadly based social and environmental screens.
Michael is the co-author of The 50 Best Ethical Stocks for Canadians: High Value Investing, published by MacMillan Canada. He currently sits on the advisory council for the Schulich School of Business' Centre of Excellence. Michael is also the former director of Canada's Social Investment Organization.
