Chris leads the RBC Asset Management Inc. coverage of the Energy and Materials sectors, and co-manages the RBC Global Precious Metals, RBC Global Resource and RBC Global Energy Funds. He is a member of the Canadian Equity Committee.
Chris, who joined RBC Asset Management in 2000, has been researching and analyzing natural-resources companies since 1993, with a focus on precious metals and base-metal mining companies. His combination of investment-industry experience and four years as a field geologist bring diverse perspectives to his analysis of resource-based companies.
He graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland with a bachelor's of science degree in geology. He also earned an MBA in finance from the Joseph L. Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto. Chris earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1996.
