Paul has worked in the investment industry since 1987, when he joined Union Bank of Switzerland from his previous employer, the Bank of England. At UBS, he helped manage balanced U.K. and global portfolios for pension funds and private clients. In 1990 he joined another UBS subsidiary, Cantrade Investments, as Portfolio Manager and Head of European Equities. In that position, he managed European and Asian equities for pension funds. He was also a member of that firm's asset-mix committee.
In 1998, Paul moved to Canada to join RBC Asset Management Inc. as Senior Portfolio Manager of Global Investments. Paul was born in Sussex, England, and was educated at the City of London University, where he obtained his business studies degree.
