In 1994, the advisory Board of Governors of the RBC Funds was established to provide advice to
the trustee and manager of the RBC Funds; to give investors in the RBC Funds a voice at the management table.
In 2006, the Canadian Securities Administrators published a rule - National Instrument 81-107 - requiring all mutual funds and other investment funds to establish an independent review committee. On December 1, 2006, the Board of Governors led the industry to become the first independent review committee under National Instrument 81-107.
