The provinces of British Columbia and Quebec have introduced regulations requiring the holders of unclaimed property to make reasonable efforts to locate and contact their rightful owners, if their last known address was in one of those two provinces. If all efforts taken by the holders are unsuccessful, then information on the unclaimed property will be made accessible to the public in order to facilitate its return to the owner.

If a communication sent by RBC Asset Management Inc. or Royal Mutual
Funds Inc. is returned by the post office as 'undeliverable', we
will make a reasonable effort to locate the owner(s). If our efforts
are unsuccessful, then we will add the owner(s) and the date that
the property became 'unclaimed' to our confidential database.
