Frank is a member of the RBC Asset Management Inc. (RBC AM) Fixed Income Committee. As a portfolio manager, he is responsible for managing the investment grade and high yield corporate bond investments in various bond funds.
Frank's long-term success in the corporate bond market comes from a value-focused, total rate of return investment philosophy, which strives to invest in quality companies that are undervalued given current market sentiment. Using detailed company credit and industry analysis, Frank and his team identify investment opportunities offering high probabilities of superior rates of return while simultaneously minimizing default prospects.
Prior to joining RBC AM, Frank was the Senior Portfolio Manager and Group Head for Royal Bank of Canada's proprietary High Yield Bond Portfolio. He began his career with Canada Life as a senior fixed income analyst and was also a portfolio manager with Manulife Financial’s High Yield Group.
Frank graduated from McMaster University with an MBA and York University with a BA in Economics. Frank is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.
