Marcello Montanari, CFA has 15 years industry experience, over 10 at RBC Asset Management. Prior to RBC Marcello worked at Canadian Bond Rating Service, now S&P, where he analysed Telecommunications and Media companies. Marcello has been a portfolio manager since 1999 working on the RBC Canadian Equity and RBC Balanced Fund where he has been responsible for the Technology, Telecommunications and Media sectors. Most recently, he has been one of the three team leaders for those funds responsible for all new economy investments and participates actively in the strategy planning for those funds.
Marcello received a B.Comm majoring in Finance from Concordia University in Montreal.
