Marcello Montanari, Vice-President and Senior Portfolio Manager, Canadian Equities

Marcello Montanari has 17 years industry experience with 12 years at RBC Asset Management. Prior to RBC, Marcello worked at Canadian Bond Rating Service (now S&P), where he analyzed and helped determine credit ratings for various Telecommunications and Media companies.
Marcello has been a portfolio manager and member of the Canadian Equity team since 1999 helping to manage the RBC Canadian Equity and RBC Balanced Funds where he has been responsible for the Technology, Telecommunications and Media sectors. He continues to participate actively in the management of those funds. Most recently, Marcello has assumed additional co-manager mandates for the above-listed funds in addition to a number of equity pools.
Marcello received a B.Comm. Finance from Concordia University in 1992 and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
