Paul has worked in the investment industry since 1987 when he joined Union Bank of Switzerland from his previous employer, the Bank of England. At UBS, he was responsible for managing balanced UK and Global Portfolios for pension funds and private clients. In 1990 he transitioned to a UBS subsidiary – Cantrade Investments – as Portfolio Manager and Head of European Equities, managing Pan European and Asian Equities for Pension Funds. He was also a member of that firm’s asset mix committee.
In 1998, Paul moved to Canada to join RBC Asset Management Inc., as Senior Portfolio Manager of Global Investments, and is currently an advisor to the RBC Investment Strategy Committee.
Paul was born in Sussex, England and was educated at the City of London University where he obtained his degree in Business Studies.
