As Chair of the RBC Asset Management Inc. (RBC AM) U.S. Equity committee, Ray and his team of experts are responsible for managing the U.S. equity investment activities.

Ray brings a wealth of expertise to his role, having specialized in U.S. equities since 1984. He began his investment career as a senior analyst with a large western Canadian financial institution where he was responsible for the management of pension client assets, the Canadian equity index fund and U.S. equity stock selection. His diverse experience in managing U.S. and Canadian equity investments led him to join RBC AM in 1992.

Ray is also a member of RBC AM Investment Policy Committee, responsible for the North American markets, as well as a member of the RBC Investment Strategy Committee responsible for establishing the global asset mix strategies across the entire investment management platform, including portfolios for institutions and high net worth private clients.

Ray graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in honours Finance and is a member of the CFA Institute and the Toronto Society of Financial Analysts.
