Walter Posiewko, Vice-President and Senior Portfolio Manager, Global Fixed Income and Currencies

Walter is a senior member of the Global Fixed Income and Currencies Committee and also sits on the duration and credit sub-committees.
Prior to joining RBC Asset Management Inc. in 1995, Walter was a money market trader with RBC Dominion Securities. He also brings his experience from the Bank of Canada where he held positions as marketing manager, capital market analyst and senior bond and money market trader responsible for evaluating market conditions sentiment and overall market intelligence.
With the RBC Asset Management Inc. Walter started as a money market trader before advancing to becoming a portfolio manager. His role eventually evolved into managing the entire short-term fixed income continuum for the entire suite of mutual funds.
Walter holds a B.A. from McGill University, an MBA from Concordia University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
