Yoji is responsible for Asian Equities for RBC Investment Management (Asia) Ltd., and a regional advisor to the RBC Investments Strategy Committee which sets overall global asset mix and investment strategies for the investment management platform, including portfolios for institutions and high net worth private clients.
Yoji has been active in international securities and the investment management industry since 1980, when he began his career with Bankers Trust. He worked in London, New York, and Tokyo, returning to Japan in 1983 where he was Chief Investment Officer. In August of 1994, Yoji joined RBC Asset Management in Japan and, in October 2002, moved to Hong Kong to head the Asian equity management team for RBC Investment Management (Asia) Ltd., in Hong Kong.
Yoji graduated from Nanzan University, Nagoya, Japan with a B.A and received an MBA from Harvard Business School.
