Yoji is Head of Asian Equity Management Team in RBC Investment Management (Asia) Limited located in Hong Kong. He specialises in Japanese equity but also oversees overall Asian investments. He is an advisor to the RBC Investment Strategy Committee which sets overall global asset mix and investment strategies for the investment management platform, including portfolios for institutions and high net worth private clients.
Yoji has been active in international securities and the investment management industry since 1980, when he began his career with Bankers Trust. He has worked in London, New York, and Tokyo, returning to Japan in 1983 where he was Chief Investment Officer. In August of 1994, Yoji joined RBC Asset Management Inc. in Tokyo and in 2002, relocated to Hong Kong.
Yoji graduated from Nanzan University, Nagoya, Japan with a B.A and received an MBA from Harvard Business School.
